Sports Facilities
The park features four lighted softball/baseball fields, maintained to Major League Baseball standards. These fields are part of the USA Baseball National Training Complex, which opened in 2007 after the Town of Cary was selected as the training home for USA Baseball in 2002.
In addition to baseball facilities, Thomas Brooks Park offers soccer fields, basketball courts, and a playground, providing ample opportunities for both organized sports and casual play.
Stadium Features
The park's main softball/baseball stadium, known as Coleman Field, includes a press box with two suites, an official scorer's room, a sound room, and a press row. It provides seating for 1,754 spectators, including handicap-accessible options, with additional grass seating for approximately 250 people.
Recreation Areas
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the park offers picnic shelters and a half-mile walking trail that circles the softball complex, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings.
