Baxter Street Park

A Green Retreat in the City

Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Baxter Street Park spans a cozy 3.6 acres that packs quite a punch for its modest size. This little urban oasis offers a great escape when you need a dose of nature without venturing far from home.

The park's winding walking trails invite you to lace up your shoes and get moving, whether you're looking for a quick morning jog or just a peaceful afternoon stroll to clear your head.

Grow & Connect

What really makes this park special is the thriving community garden, where locals roll up their sleeves and connect with both the earth and each other. There's something deeply satisfying about watching your own vegetables and plants flourish in this shared green space. It's not just about growing food - it's about growing relationships too.

Gather & Unwind

At the heart of the park stands a charming gazebo that acts as the natural gathering point for the neighborhood. It provides welcome shade on sunny days and an ideal spot to catch your breath, read a book, or chat with neighbors. Small community events often find their home here, giving the park a true neighborhood feel.
