Situated in Wilmington's Love Grove neighborhood, Archie Blue Community Park spans a generous 7.7 acres of public green space. The park bears the name of a true local hero - Archie Blue - who dedicated over three decades of his life mentoring young people at the community's Boys & Girls Club.

This peaceful retreat came to life through the 2006 Parks & Greenspace Bond funding, and it's only gotten better with time. In recent years, neighbors have rolled up their sleeves for tree planting projects that have added leafy charm to both the park and surrounding streets.

Whether you're looking to break a sweat or just enjoy some fresh air, the park offers several options. Kids can burn off energy at the playground while sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the baseball field and basketball court.
