The park's 0.5-mile walking trail is ideal for stretching your legs. It's fully paved, making it perfect whether you're going for a quick jog, taking a leisurely evening stroll, or teaching the kids to ride their bikes in a safe, natural setting.

The park includes basketball courts - there's both a full court and a half court that rarely get overcrowded, great for shooting some hoops or practicing layups without much waiting.

There's also a spacious open soccer field suitable for impromptu games, team practices, or letting kids run around and play.

Chill & Grill

Planning a get-together? Parkwood has two picnic shelters that each seat up to 45 people with about 8 tables per shelter. You'll discover grilling areas nearby - just remember to bring your own grill and supplies if you're planning a cookout.

If you've got little ones, they'll love the well-kept playground area where they can climb, slide, and make new friends in a secure environment.

Note that the park offers portable restrooms rather than permanent facilities - they're not fancy, but they get the job done.
