Maides Park

Maides Park is a 15.5-acre public park located at the end of Manly Avenue on Wilmington's east side. The park has undergone recent renovations and improvements to better serve the community.

The park features a variety of recreational facilities, including outdoor sports courts and fields. There are basketball courts and tennis courts available for public use. A baseball/softball field and a large athletic field provide space for team sports and other activities.

For younger visitors, Maides Park offers playground equipment. The park is currently in the process of constructing a new inclusive playground, which will feature accessible swings and activities to accommodate children of all abilities.

Multiple picnic shelters are scattered throughout the park, providing shaded areas for gatherings and meals. A paved walking trail winds through the park, offering opportunities for exercise and leisurely strolls.

Maides Park includes restroom facilities for visitor convenience. The park is free to use and open to the public, though specific hours may vary.
