About Grace Court in Winston Salem

Grace Court is a historic park located in the West End neighborhood of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Established in 1905, the park was originally gifted to the city by the West End Hotel and Land Company. This charming urban green space features mature trees, well-maintained gardens, and walking paths that crisscross its lawns.

At the heart of Grace Court stands a picturesque gazebo, which serves as a focal point and gathering place for visitors. In 1969, the Winston-Salem Junior Woman's Club, in cooperation with the city, raised funds to construct a decorative pool and fountain, further enhancing the park's aesthetic appeal.

Grace Court offers a tranquil retreat in the West End neighborhood, providing residents and visitors alike with a peaceful setting for relaxation, picnics, and leisurely strolls. The park's historic character and natural beauty make it a popular spot for small gatherings and photography.

While compact in size, Grace Court's layout and amenities make efficient use of the space, creating an inviting atmosphere in the heart of Winston-Salem's urban landscape.
