There are two soccer fields spread across the grounds, giving you plenty of options for your kickabout sessions. If tennis is more your thing, the tennis courts await your best backhand - no reservations needed, just bring your racket and a friend.

One of the park's cozy locations is its junior disc golf course - a great way to introduce yourself to the sport without the pressure of a full-sized course. All these activities are made even more enjoyable by the park's lush greenery and mature trees providing patches of shade throughout the day.

Playground and Recreation

Kids will light up at the sight of the modern playground equipment here. The contemporary climbing structures offer a fantastic outlet for all that boundless energy. The star attraction? A special elephant structure made for climbing that nods to the park's namesake.

What we really appreciate is how the playground sits in a spacious open area, giving families room to breathe while keeping an eye on the little ones. Plus, it's just a short walk from the parking lot - a small but significant mercy when you're juggling kids and gear.

Amenities for All

When hunger strikes, head to one of the park's picnic areas complete with tables and two grills for impromptu cookouts. While there's no permanent shelter, the park's mature trees create natural canopies where you can find relief on sunny days.

Nature calls? The park has permanent restroom facilities, but keep in mind they may only be open seasonally or during events. Not to worry though - porta-potties are available year-round on the north side of the park, ensuring you're never caught in an uncomfortable situation.
