Loew Park offers a variety of sports facilities. The baseball fields are well-kept and ready for your next game, while the tennis court attracts regulars who show up faithfully each weekend to practice their serve.

The swimming pool provides a welcome escape during those sweltering Ohio summer days. The best part? It's completely free! You just need to register with your details and preferred swimming time.

Kids will love the playground area that caters to both the little ones and older children. For the fitness enthusiasts, there's a fitness gym zone at one end of the park where you can get your workout in while enjoying the fresh air. Beyond the organized spaces, you'll come across plenty of green areas meant for spreading out a blanket, tossing a frisbee, or simply lounging with a good book.

Layout & Amenities

This spacious park features a walking path where two complete laps add up to about a mile - ideal for your daily exercise routine. You'll often spot locals walking their dogs or cycling along these paths.

Need a shaded spot for your family get-together? The park's covered pavilion houses 4-5 picnic tables where you can enjoy meals together. While there aren't permanent restrooms, portable toilets are available. One thing you'll notice is how clean everything is - the city does an excellent job keeping the grounds well-maintained.

Recent Upgrades

Loew Park has been getting some love in recent years. Back in 2019, plans were announced to add a regulation-sized soccer field complete with grandstand seating for up to 750 spectators and a press box. These additions aim to make the park an even better venue for sporting events.

Currently, the park has six baseball diamonds, a soccer field, and a football field with turf - pretty impressive for a neighborhood park!

Community Hub

Spanning several acres in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood, Loew Park is a recreational space used by people of all ages throughout the year.

The park regularly hosts youth baseball games and was even a popular spot for viewing the 2024 solar eclipse, with local vendors joining in on the celebration.

One of the more unique attractions happens every Sunday between 12-4pm, when medieval armored combat enthusiasts practice their skills. It's quite something to see people in historical armor battling with swords, axes, and shields right in the middle of Cleveland!
