A Neighborhood Haven

Found in West Toledo's Five Points neighborhood, Asbury Park is a modest 3.0-acre green space that is a breath of fresh air for local residents. This little green space offers a convenient spot to relax without having to venture far from home.

Maintained by the City of Toledo, the park serves the surrounding neighborhood. There's ample parking available, but heads up - parts of the lot have seen better days with some areas showing signs of wear and tear.

Get Moving

Don't let its compact size fool you - Asbury Park packs in quite a few options for staying active. Baseball enthusiasts can make use of the baseball diamond with backstop. It's nothing fancy - mainly just a grassy area with basic features - but fantastic for a casual game with friends.

If racquet sports are more your thing, there's a tennis court with net waiting for your best serves. Basketball fans will find a half-court area, however you'll need to bring your own hoop for now as the court is currently without one. Gentle walking paths meander through the grounds, offering a peaceful route for your morning stroll or evening exercise.

Kid-Friendly Corner

The little ones haven't been forgotten at Asbury Park. The modest but functional playground area features climbing structures for adventurous kids, slides for those thrilling moments, and a swing set equipped with two baby swings and two regular swings.

While not the largest playground you'll find in Toledo, it offers enough options to keep younger visitors entertained during an afternoon visit.

Kick Back and Relax

Looking to unwind? The park offers several benches and picnic tables that make perfect spots for an outdoor lunch or simply sitting back with a good book. Mature shade trees dot the landscape, providing welcome cool spots during those warm Ohio summer days.

You'll also find drinking fountains to stay hydrated and barbecue grills that make the park an excellent choice for small gatherings or family cookouts. The large open space gives you plenty of room to spread out, whether you're tossing a frisbee, flying a kite, or just enjoying some quiet time on a blanket under the sky.
