McGeorge Park

Play Areas & Recreation

McGeorge Park has a cozy playground area that's excellent for letting the kids burn off some energy. Little ones can enjoy the swings and slides, while more adventurous climbers might tackle the spider web climbing structure. It's nothing fancy, but it's a reliable spot for families looking to spend some quality outdoor time.

If basketball is more your speed, you can find a basketball court ready for a pickup game. There's also plenty of open space where you can throw a frisbee or kick a ball around.

Places to Relax

Need a break? The park offers two picnic tables where you can enjoy a packed lunch or afternoon snack. They're typically kept clean and in good condition, so you won't have to worry about wiping them down before use.

During the summer months, you're in for a treat - the park sets up hammocks between the trees. There's something uniquely peaceful about swaying in the breeze with a good book or just watching the clouds drift by.

The Setting

McGeorge Park is one of those small, unassuming neighborhood parks that adds character to the residential area around it. The shade trees offer welcome relief on hot Oklahoma days, and seasonal flowers add splashes of color throughout the year.

Just a heads-up: parking can be limited, so you might need to park on a nearby street and walk a short distance.

The park welcomes early birds and night owls alike, with daily hours from 5AM to 10:30PM.
