About the Location
Features and Amenities
Northeast Lions Park spans approximately 24 acres and features a variety of outdoor amenities for visitors to enjoy. One of the park's main attractions is its 6-acre pond, which offers fishing opportunities and is stocked with hybrid sunfish and channel catfish.
The pond includes a fishing dock and fish feeder, with spider blocks (fish attractors) placed throughout to enhance the fishing experience.
Historic Disc Golf Course
The park is home to one of the oldest disc golf courses in the United States, established in 1977. The 18-hole course provides a challenging experience for disc golf enthusiasts, with concrete tee pads and Prodigy T1 targets.
The course layout incorporates the park's natural features, including rolling terrain, narrow fairways lined with tall rough and trees, and holes that play around the large pond, adding an element of water hazard to the game.

Visitors can also make use of the picnic areas and shelter, making it an ideal spot for family outings or community gatherings.
Facilities Information
The park is open year-round, with restroom facilities available from April through October, and weather permitting from November through March. It is easily accessible for Norman residents and visitors alike.
