Recreational Facilities

The park spans 4.5 acres and offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors. Situated in west Tulsa, Zeigler Park functions as a community gathering space for residents in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Water Playground

The park features a water playground, which is particularly popular during the hot summer months. This splash pad provides a fun and refreshing way for children to cool off and play.

The water playground is typically operational from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, with hours running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Visitors should note that some water features may occasionally be out of service.

Sports Facilities

For sports enthusiasts, the park offers several athletic facilities. There are tennis courts and a ball diamond, both of which are lighted to allow for evening use.

The park also includes basketball courts and a soccer field, providing options for various team sports and individual activities. The baseball field features a center field fence at 370 feet.

Disc Golf

Zeigler Park is home to a 9-hole disc golf course. This well-maintained course is ideal for beginners, offering a less technical layout that's perfect for those new to the sport.

The course takes advantage of the park's open green spaces, making it a pleasant option for casual disc golf players.

Green Spaces

Zeigler Park provides ample green space for passive recreation. The park features two covered picnic areas with tables and grills available, making it a suitable location for family outings or community gatherings.

History

The park underwent renovations in 2014, which included updates to various facilities. Prior to 2002, the park housed a recreation center and pool, which many long-time residents remember fondly.

The park continues to evolve to meet community needs, though some visitors note that additional upgrades would benefit the neighborhood youth.
