Park Overview

Dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, Lehigh Parkway sprawls across 629 acres of natural beauty alongside the Little Lehigh Creek in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This expansive green space follows the creek for about 3 miles, creating a peaceful corridor from downtown Allentown all the way to the Emmaus border.

The parkway offers over 6 miles of picturesque trails that meander through woods and open meadows alongside the gentle creek. The crushed stone paths create a pleasant surface for exploring, with several bridges providing access to both sides of the Little Lehigh.

Historic Features

As you wander through the park, you'll encounter fascinating historical treasures like Bogert's Bridge, a charming covered bridge from 1841.
