Wedgewood Park

Park Overview

At 9.5 acres, Wedgewood Park in Allentown is one of those perfect little escapes where you can break away from the daily grind without having to venture far from home. With its blend of natural landscapes and developed recreational areas, there's something here for everyone looking to enjoy some outdoor time.

The park offers plenty of open grassy areas where you can throw down a blanket for a picnic, toss a frisbee around, or simply lie back and cloud-watch for a while. If you're more of an active type, the walking paths that meander through the grounds are fantastic for your morning jog or an evening stroll to clear your head.

Amenities and Features

One thing we love about this park is its thoughtful layout. You'll come across sunny spots for those who want to soak up some vitamin D, as well as shaded retreats under mature trees when the summer heat gets a bit too intense.

If you've got little ones in tow, the tot lot is a must-visit - it's specially designed to keep smaller children safe while they burn off that seemingly endless energy. Basketball enthusiasts haven't been forgotten either; the basketball court is there for you to practice your jump shot or gather some friends for a pickup game.

Community Value

What really makes Wedgewood Park special is how it represents a neighborhood gathering spot. It's the kind of place where community naturally happens - whether it's through planned events or just bumping into neighbors while out enjoying the grounds.

For those living nearby, the park's convenient location puts nature and recreation just a short walk away.
