South Whitehall Chase Park

What You'll Find Here

South Whitehall Chase Park is a small 2.4-acre green space on Lincoln Avenue in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This pocket park might be small in size, but it offers just enough amenities to make it worth a visit if you're in the area.

Park Features

If you've got kids in tow, they'll appreciate the playground area where they can climb, slide, and burn off some energy. Basketball enthusiasts can shoot some hoops on the park's basketball court - nothing fancy, but meant for a casual game.

Looking for a spot to enjoy a sandwich or just sit and watch the world go by? The park offers several picnic tables and benches scattered around the grounds. There's also a little free library box where you can take or leave a book, though keep in mind its condition might vary depending on when you visit.

A Neighborhood Retreat

South Whitehall Chase Park doesn't pretend to be a destination park with bells and whistles. Instead, it serves its purpose well as an accessible green space within this residential area.

Neighbors often cross paths while walking their dogs, parents bring their children to play, and teens meet up for basketball games after school.
