Found in North Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood, Fisher Park spreads across 23 acres of public green space. This urban oasis was once part of the estate belonging to Joseph Wharton - the same visionary who founded Swarthmore College and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

In a gesture of remarkable generosity, Wharton gifted the land to Philadelphia as a "Christmas present" back in 1908, forever changing the landscape of the neighborhood.
