About Polo Road Park

Play & Sports Areas

Need a place to kick a ball around or catch some softball action? Polo Road Park offers plenty of options. The park features lighted softball and baseball fields, six lighted soccer fields, and a football field - plenty of space whether you're joining a league game or just tossing a frisbee with friends. It's a solid complex that local sports teams call home.

A nice advantage is the park's location right next to Sesquicentennial State Park, giving you access to hiking trails if you're in the mood to explore. There's also a sidewalk running from the park to the Polo and Alpine Road intersection that makes for a nice workout walk. That incline will definitely get your heart pumping and lungs working!

Indoor Spaces

When the weather doesn't cooperate, head inside the main building where you'll discover a gymnasium, game room, fitness room, and classrooms. These spaces host various community programs and give you options for recreation year-round.

Planning an event? Make a reservation at this park

There's also a kitchen facility available, which comes in handy for community events or gatherings.

Kid-Friendly Zone

The park includes a playground that, while not massive, gives the little ones a place to burn off energy while you're walking laps or watching a game. There are swings available, but they might be a bit tall for toddlers, so keep that in mind if you're bringing very young children.

Basics & Bathrooms

Yes, there are restrooms here. They're clean and functional - nothing fancy, but they do the job when nature calls during your park visit.

Why It Matters

Beyond sports facilities, Polo Road Park is a gathering place for people of all ages. The facilities provide opportunities for physical activity and create natural settings to meet your neighbors.

Own a local business? Promote it right here

The park's natural setting and proximity to the Sesquicentennial trail make it a good spot for a thoughtful stroll. Spending time here offers a chance to enjoy the outdoors while connecting with the community.
