Set in the St. Andrews area of Columbia, Seven Oaks Park has been a community fixture since 1973. This full-service recreation complex offers a variety of facilities where locals gather year-round.

The heart of the park is its impressive 30,000 square-foot indoor facility. Step inside and you can find multiple gymnasiums buzzing with activity, a well-equipped fitness area, and an indoor walking track excellent for those rainy days or summer heat escapes. The building also houses a welcoming senior center, a dance studio where future performers practice their moves, an art studio for creative types, and several meeting rooms where community groups regularly gather. Planning a special event? The facility offers rentable spaces with kitchen access that work beautifully for parties and celebrations.

Outdoor Spaces

The outdoor areas are particularly pleasant in good weather. Sports enthusiasts appreciate the nine athletic fields that host everything from baseball and softball to soccer and football throughout the seasons.

Need a peaceful moment? The paved walking trails meander through the grounds, running alongside a small stream with plenty of benches where you can pause and catch your breath. These paths make for lovely morning walks or afternoon strolls.

If you're into disc golf, you can find a beginner-friendly 9-hole disc golf course near the baseball fields. This easy, par-3 course is excellent for practicing your midrange shots and putting technique without feeling intimidated.

Restroom facilities are available in the main building and near most activity areas, however you might want to plan ahead if you're heading to the more remote parts of the park.
