Iconic Bronze Statue

The park's most notable feature is a full-sized replica of Michelangelo's famous statue of David. This bronze casting, one of only a few in existence, was donated to the city in 1971 by Thomas Fawick, a local inventor and philanthropist after whom the park is named.

The statue stands 18 feet tall and serves as a striking centerpiece for the park.
