Let's talk ball fields - RichEllen Park has eight excellent little league baseball and softball fields where young athletes can play. Spread across this award-winning 51-acre community space, these beautifully maintained fields serve as home base for the Montgomery Central Little League. You'll notice how well-kept these playing surfaces stay throughout the season.

Trails and Accessibility

Need to stretch your legs? The park offers nearly 1.5 miles of smooth, paved walking trails that wind through peaceful surroundings. These paths are fully ADA accessible, making the park a welcoming space for everyone. If you're looking for a serene experience, try visiting in the morning when the trails are at their quietest.

As you stroll, you'll come across charming Dolly's Imagination Library story signs that add a bit of educational fun to your walk. The trails are also fantastic for dog walking, with thoughtfully placed pet waste stations throughout so you can keep things clean as you go.

Children's Play Areas

Got kids? RichEllen Park features three pour-in-place play areas that provide safe spaces for little ones to burn off energy. These playgrounds are consistently clean and well-maintained, making them ideal for younger children. Some play areas even offer decent shade coverage - a real blessing during those hot Tennessee summer days.

Picnic Facilities

When hunger strikes, you've got options. The park offers shaded picnic spots near the playgrounds as well as various areas across the grounds. Choose between several covered pavilions for a more formal setup, or grab a spot on one of the open grassy hillsides for a casual blanket picnic with a view.

Event Spaces

Planning something special? The park houses a spacious 3,300 square foot banquet hall and a community room for indoor gatherings. For those who prefer the fresh air, there's a large open-air pavilion great for outdoor events and family get-togethers.

There are also plenty of flexible open spaces, so you can adapt the area to whatever activity you have in mind.
