Sequoyah Park & Greenway

Park Layout

Sequoyah Park & Greenway is divided into three distinct sections, each with its own parking area on the eastern side of Cherokee Boulevard. The East Parking Lot provides convenient access to one of these sections, allowing visitors to easily explore the park's features and amenities.

Trails and Recreation

The greenway, known as Sequoyah Greenway, runs for 2.7 miles along the median of Cherokee Boulevard. This soft-surfaced trail is suitable for walking, jogging, and cycling, providing a pleasant route through the picturesque neighborhood.

Expansive grassy areas are ideal for picnicking, relaxation, and various recreational activities. Sports enthusiasts can make use of the park's athletic fields, which include baseball and softball facilities.

Amenities and Features

For families with children, there is a playground area available. The park spans along Cherokee Boulevard in the Sequoyah Hills neighborhood, offering visitors a scenic environment alongside the Tennessee River.

River Access

One of the park's notable features is its access to the Tennessee River. There are two waterway access points within the park, allowing visitors to launch small watercraft and enjoy activities on the river.
