A Glimpse of History

Glenview Park has been part of the Memphis, Tennessee community since 1943, when the City of Memphis transformed what was once the George Schmalzreid Farm into the 24-acre green space it is today.

One cool thing about Glenview is that when it was established, the original trees were still standing - nobody had cleared them. This made it an excellent natural oasis close to the new suburbs that were popping up in the area at the time.

Neighborhood's Living Room
