Park History
Named after Arthur Sears, a rancher and banker from the early 1900s, the park was established in 1949 when Mrs. Sears donated the land to become a public space. The park spans 24.1 acres, offering a variety of outdoor activities and facilities for visitors of all ages.

The park houses the Sears Park Recreation Center, which opened in 1966. This facility offers various indoor activities and programs, including a fitness center, gymnasium, and spaces for community events and classes.
