Trails and Exercise

The park's 1.2-mile paved trail loops around the perimeter, good for jogging, walking, or biking. Thanks to some well-placed trees, you'll find decent shade along parts of the trail - helpful during hot Texas summers. The park connects to the Violet Crown Trail system, providing access to miles of additional hiking and biking trails. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife and seasonal treats like vibrant wildflowers in spring and beautiful Yaupon Holly that puts on a show around February.
