The park gives you direct access to Lady Bird Lake, where you can enjoy the water in various ways. Just note that swimming isn't allowed for safety reasons, but don't let that stop you from having fun! The lake's calm surface is excellent for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Connected to Austin's Favorite Trail

One of the best features of International Shores is that it connects directly to the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail. This 10-mile path loops around Lady Bird Lake, giving you plenty of space for a casual stroll, morning jog, or bike ride.

As you move along the trail, you'll be treated to some impressive views of Austin's skyline juxtaposed against the natural landscape - a perfect reminder of what makes this city so special.
