In recent years, the park has undergone significant improvements. In 2020, it was awarded a $40,000 grant from the Austin Parks Foundation as part of the Austin City Limits Music Festival Grants Program.
This funding was designated for the creation of a new perimeter trail and the installation of a water fountain, enhancing the park's accessibility and amenities.
Nature Playscape
One of the park's notable features is the Kendra Page Nature Playscape, completed in 2022. This unique play area, one of only a handful in Austin, was designed to incorporate natural elements such as tree logs, stumps, and a nature trail.
