Honoring Our Heroes

Located on 2.54 acres of Austin land, Veterans Park stands as a peaceful tribute to those who've served in our nation's Armed Forces. At the heart of the park sits a newly built monument that immediately catches your eye - six impressive columns, each bearing plaques that honor a different branch of the U.S. military: the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines.

Throughout the grounds, you'll find engraved bronze plaques scattered along the paths. These aren't just ordinary markers - each one tells a personal story, dedicated by families honoring their loved ones who served. Walking among these tributes, you can't help but feel the weight of sacrifice and pride that fills this space.

Far From Just a Memorial

While remembrance remains at its core, Veterans Park has evolved to offer something for everyone. Recent upgrades have added several amenities, including a basketball area protected by shade structures (helpful during those scorching Texas afternoons), a pavilion featuring a fishing pier, and newly constructed restroom facilities.
