About the Location
A Bit of History
Positioned in the east side of downtown Conroe, Texas sits Flournoy Park, a cozy 4-acre green space with a story. The park came to life through a partnership with the estate of J.W. Flournoy - yes, that's where the name comes from!
Back in 1998, the park got a makeover, bringing in new features that the community still enjoys today.
Your Neighborhood Retreat
Despite its modest size, this little park packs in plenty of opportunities for both active fun and quiet relaxation. If you're working or living downtown, you'll appreciate how easy it is to pop over for a quick breath of fresh air.
While it might not be the largest park around, locals know Flournoy as something of a hidden gem in Conroe - a place where you can bring the family, get some exercise, or simply unwind for a while.
What You'll Find Here
Kids absolutely love the modern playground with its triple slide structure - it's fantastic for burning off that endless energy! Meanwhile, sports enthusiasts can shoot some hoops on the well-maintained basketball court.
