Booker T. Washington Park is located on S. First Street in Conroe, Texas. The park was formerly known as First Street Park and is leased from the Conroe Independent School District.
In 2014, it was renamed to honor Booker T. Washington, a prominent African-American educator and leader.
Renovations and Main Features
The park underwent significant renovations to enhance its facilities and expand its offerings to the community. The original baseball fields, concession building, and playground were removed to make way for new amenities.
