Playground and Dog Park

The good news? Change is coming. As part of El Paso County's 2021 Parks Master Plan, Agua Dulce Park is getting some much-needed attention. In September 2024, the county broke ground on renovations to the skatepark, with completion slated for April 2025. Out go the aging wood and metal structures, in come more durable concrete features designed to give local skaters a significantly improved experience.

Within the park, you'll find the Ilumina Library. If you're stopping by, the library staff offers helpful service and community programs.

You can find plenty of parking available, and one of the park's unexpected perks is that it rarely feels crowded. If you're looking for a less crowded outdoor space, this park is often fairly quiet. Open daily from 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM, the park accommodates early birds and night owls alike.
