Situated in Fort Worth, Marine Creek Lake Park revolves around a 250-acre no-wake lake that came to life in 1958 as part of North Fort Worth's flood control system. Over the years, this tranquil body of water has become a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts looking to escape the urban environment.

Recreational Trails

One of the park's highlights is its 6-mile paved trail loop that wraps around the lake. The trail features a charming boardwalk and plenty of benches where you can pause to take in the gorgeous lake views.

Fishing Opportunities

The lake offers good fishing opportunities. Marine Creek Lake is regularly stocked with a variety of fish, including largemouth bass, spotted bass, channel catfish, white crappie, and sunfish.

Getting your boat on the water is easy thanks to two public boat ramps - find one on the west side off Ten Mile Bridge Road and another on the southeast side off IH-820 Access Road.

Beyond water activities, the park offers pleasant spaces for picnicking and unwinding. With its peaceful environment and recreational options, Marine Creek Lake Park provides a natural setting not far from the city.

Dog owners will appreciate that the park welcomes four-legged friends, making those lakeside trail walks even more enjoyable. Do note that restroom facilities are limited to portable toilets near the east parking lot, and water fountains aren't always operational.

The park is open from 5AM-10PM daily, accommodating both early morning and evening visits.
