Walking Trail

Need a quick workout or just want to stretch your legs? The park's 0.3-mile paved trail loops around the perimeter, offering an excellent concrete path for walking, jogging, or just wandering about to clear your head.

At just a third of a mile, the trail is short enough to be approachable for pretty much everyone, whether you're training for a marathon or just enjoying a leisurely evening stroll to catch some fresh air.

Landscape

The open field area gives you plenty of room to spread out, toss a frisbee, or maybe spot some local ducks that occasionally drop by. Just a quick note: after heavy rains, parts of the field can get a bit soggy due to drainage issues, so you might want to bring appropriate footwear if it's recently rained.

Recent Improvements

As of August 2022, Alamo Park has received a nice facelift as part of Garland's bond project. These renovations have breathed new life into this community space, ensuring it remains a valued neighborhood retreat for residents living nearby.
