About Wiley Park
Your Midtown Oasis
Found on Gillette Street in Houston's Midtown, Wiley Park is that little slice of green that brings the neighborhood to life. It's not the biggest park you can find, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character - offering locals a welcome breath of fresh air amid the urban landscape.
Play Paradise for the Little Ones
Kids light up at the sight of the vibrant rubber-surface playground here. What's great is that the equipment caters to children of all ages, so whether you've got toddlers or tweens, everyone finds their happy place.
Since 2001, the park has been home to a refreshing water sprayground - an absolute lifesaver during those scorching Houston summers. Little ones can splash around playful elements including a flower, rainbow, fire hydrant activator, raining buckets, and an in-ground spray fountain. Just press the large button in the splash pad area, and let the cooling fun begin!
ADSedan Airport Transfer in Houston
We provide a private airport pickup & transfer from IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport or Hobby Airport to the destination of your choice anywhere within the city limits of our beautiful City of Houston. Our city is spread far & wide, so destinations outside of Houston City Limits may be subject to extra charges.
Sports and Recreation
Fancy shooting some hoops? The park's basketball court is fantastic for a quick game or practicing your shots. It's nothing fancy, but it's well-maintained and adds another layer of recreational possibilities to this compact community space.
A Shady Retreat
Wiley Park offers more than play areas. The thoughtfully landscaped grounds feature mature trees that provide much-needed shade on sunny days. Benches scattered throughout give you places to sit, read a book, or simply watch the world go by.
You'll also find drinking fountains to stay hydrated during your visit. Though modest in size, this park is an important gathering spot in the heart of Midtown's bustling residential area.
When to Visit
The park welcomes visitors daily from 6AM to 10PM, making it easy to fit a quick visit into your schedule. Its central location means you're never far from this little green escape when you need a moment of calm or a place for the kids to burn off some energy.
