Set in Mesquite, Texas, West Lake Park covers 43.25 acres. At the heart of this urban oasis sits a serene pond that adds a touch of tranquility to your visit. It's pretty remarkable how peaceful this space feels despite being just a stone's throw from a busy street. The clean grounds and calming atmosphere make it an ideal escape from the daily grind.

Trails & Walking Paths

The park's 0.18-mile concrete trail is great for a quick walk. While not extensive, it's just right for a quick stroll or a few laps if you're feeling energetic. We've found it's an ideal spot to practice mindfulness, have a heart-to-heart conversation, or simply enjoy some fresh air with family and friends.

Sports Facilities

The park offers a variety of courts for sports enthusiasts. Tennis, anyone? West Lake Park features six lighted outdoor tennis courts and three covered tennis courts for play regardless of weather.

The six lighted basketball courts allow for evening games after sunset.

Specialized Recreation

West Lake Park goes beyond the basics with some unique recreational options. The four pickleball courts cater to fans of this increasingly popular sport. And if you're looking to channel your inner Katniss Everdeen, the park features an eight-lane archery shooting range with distances ranging from 10 to 100 yards - perfect whether you're just starting out or have been at it for years.
