Grasslands Park

Park Overview

Tucked away along Crowley Boulevard in Midland, Texas, Grasslands Park is a cozy 5.1-acre neighborhood retreat that offers a little piece of nature amid the urban landscape. This peaceful green space represents a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the Lone Star State.

Amenities and Features

The park strikes a nice balance between open green areas and practical amenities. It's a good spot to spread out a blanket for a family picnic, meet up with neighbors, or just find a quiet spot to unwind with a good book. The thoughtful design blends natural elements with built facilities, making it suitable for various activities without feeling overdeveloped.

Future Plans

Exciting changes are on the horizon! In 2023, the Parks and Recreation department of Midland reviewed proposals to transform Grasslands Park. These enhancements aim to create a more engaging 5.3-acre space featuring nature elements, built-in slides, wooden structures, and climbing walls.

These planned improvements show that Grasslands Park isn't standing still - it's evolving to better reflect what the community wants and needs from their neighborhood green space.
