Recently renovated, Rock Canyon Park boasts modern amenities and play areas. The park includes multiple playgrounds suitable for children of various ages, with new equipment added in 2023 to enhance the recreational experience. The playgrounds are set on cushiony flooring for added safety.

One of the park's notable features is its large grassy area, perfect for picnics, sports, and community gatherings. This open space is particularly popular during winter, as the sloping terrain creates natural sledding hills for winter recreation.
