About the Location
Trails & Sports Options
Hunter Village Park offers a nice asphalt trail network that's perfect whether you're looking for a morning jog, an evening walk, or just a casual stroll with friends. The paved sidewalks wind within the park, giving you plenty of space to stretch your legs.
If you're into sports, you'll come across a basketball court and a grass volleyball court ready for some friendly competition. There are also horseshoe pits if you're looking to try something a bit different. The park has a fairly large open field too - we've seen people using it for disc throwing practice or giving their dogs some much-needed running space.
Kid-Friendly Features
The playground area has a clever design - it's slightly sunken into the ground, which helps keep little ones contained while they play. It's especially well-suited for younger children. One nice thing about this park is that it rarely gets overcrowded, so your kids can play without it feeling like a zoo.
During summer months, you can cool off at the outdoor pool. If you're an early bird, you'll appreciate the good morning shade in many areas of the park - fantastic for beating the Utah heat.
Places to Gather
Looking for a spot to host a small get-together? The park has a pavilion with BBQ grills and several picnic benches where you can enjoy an outdoor meal with family or friends.
This versatile space offers enough room for various activities without feeling overwhelming.
Good to Know
Note that there are no public restrooms available here, so plan accordingly. The park also has limited lighting after dark.
While technically open 24 hours daily, you'll have the best experience during daylight hours due to the lighting limitations.
