About Woodstock Park in Virginia Beach
Woodstock Park is a diverse 30-acre community park located in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and natural spaces, making it an ideal destination for family outings and outdoor activities.
Recently, the park underwent significant improvements through a partnership between Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation and HRSD (Hampton Roads Sanitation District). This renovation project included updates to various park features and facilities, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

The park also caters to dog owners with a one-acre fenced dog park, allowing pets to roam and play off-leash in a safe environment. For families with children, Woodstock Park offers renovated playground areas, providing a fun and safe space for younger visitors.
In addition to its recreational facilities, Woodstock Park contributes to local environmental efforts. The park's design incorporates features that help manage stormwater and improve water quality in the surrounding area, demonstrating a commitment to both community recreation and environmental stewardship.
