Recently, the park underwent significant improvements through a partnership between Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation and HRSD (Hampton Roads Sanitation District). This renovation project included updates to various park features and facilities, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

One of the standout features of Woodstock Park is its 30,000-square-foot skate park. Designed to accommodate skaters of all skill levels, the skate park includes a two-level bowl with a waterfall and five corners, providing a challenging and enjoyable experience for skateboarding enthusiasts.
