About the Location
Lakeside Fun & Relaxation
Silver Lake's shimmering waters are the centerpiece of this park, with a swimming beach that becomes a local hotspot when summer temperatures rise. Just remember - there aren't any lifeguards keeping watch, so you'll need to swim at your own risk.
Fancy a day out on the water? The boat launch welcomes small watercraft, with electric motors or gas engines up to 8 horsepower permitted on the lake. During the warmer months, you can even grab kayak rentals through a convenient app-based service if you didn't bring your own.
Park Highlights
On land, the recently renovated playground has become quite the attraction. The playground features safety-focused soft turf surfacing and equipment suitable for all ages and abilities. The park includes ziplines, various climbing structures, swings, slides, and a rocking boat.
Planning a get-together? The park's picnic areas with reservable shelters make for perfect gathering spots. Fire up the grilling facilities for a proper cookout, and take your pick from the many picnic tables - some nestled under shelters, others scattered beneath the cool shade of towering trees.
For those who prefer to keep moving, walking trails meander through wooded sections and along the peaceful lakeshore. A 2-mile paved path circles the entire lake with views of the water. Frisbee enthusiasts can test their skills at the 9-hole disc golf course, while table tennis players might enjoy the cement ping pong table - just remember to bring your own paddles and balls.
Facilities
Need an indoor space for your next event? Silver Hall sits within the park and comes equipped with a kitchen for rent. It comfortably holds up to 40 people, making it great for smaller gatherings.
Restrooms are available within the park, though they occasionally undergo renovation. During these times, portable toilets serve as temporary alternatives.
Good to Know
The park welcomes visitors daily from 6 AM until dusk.
While Silver Lake Park offers plenty to enjoy, it does get crowded during prime summer days, and parking can be limited on weekends and holidays. The parking lot is mostly gravel, which means it can kick up dust during dry spells and turn rather muddy after rain.
This 35.3-acre natural retreat sits on the northwest shore of Silver Lake in Everett, Washington. Dog owners, you're welcome to bring your four-legged friends, but they must stay leashed and aren't allowed to splash around in the lake or beach area.
