About Marrion Elementary School Park
Park Overview
Set in Vancouver, Washington, Marrion Elementary School Park is a 5-acre green space popular with residents of the Marrion neighborhood. Sitting right beside Marrion Elementary School, this spacious park has gotten some nice updates recently, making it a go-to spot for locals of all ages looking to enjoy some fresh air.
Amenities & Features
At the heart of the park lies a generous open lawn - fantastic for throwing a frisbee, having an impromptu picnic, or just sprawling out with a good book. If you're looking to get your steps in, the paved loop path that meanders through the grounds is ideal for a casual stroll or morning jog.
Kids will make a beeline for the updated playground, which thoughtfully offers two separate play areas designed with different age groups in mind. The equipment is kept in great shape, giving the little ones a safe place to climb, slide, and burn off some energy.
For those with hoop dreams, the basketball court provides a space where you can shoot some baskets, join a pickup game, or just work on perfecting that jump shot.
ADCannon Beach Hiking Tour on the Oregon Coast
The Oregon Coast is an experience like no other and our guides have selected a quieter, slower approach to the day: a visit to Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach; hikes through old-growth forests to views beyond what the common tourist sees; up-close encounters with the iconic monoliths that make the Oregon Coast so unusual; a lunch stop in a sweet beach town; recommendations for our favorite cinnamon rolls, pie or ice cream; sand (if you want it) between your toes. Day tours can feel long but ours feels more like a just-right exploration with plenty of time to sit however you like with the majesty of the ocean -- or spend most of your time wandering in the forest as you listen to waves crash beneath you.
Visitor Information
Need a breather? You can find benches dotted within the park where you can take a load off and soak in the surroundings. The park's convenient location next to the elementary school makes it an easy stop for families before heading home after the school bell rings.
Dog lovers are welcome to bring their four-legged friends for a walk, but do keep them leashed. The park has a way of bringing everyone together - from families with toddlers exploring the playground to teenagers chatting on the benches as afternoon drifts into evening.

ADColumbia Gorge Scenic Bikeway full day ride
If there is any adventure that we love more than biking in the Columbia River Gorge, we would be hard-pressed to identify it. The cycling here is world-renowned and it's no accident it's one of less than a dozen places in the world to have a Peloton-guided scenic ride created around it.
