Whitney Park

Historic Origins

Whitney Park is a historic public space located in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Established in 1829, it is the oldest park in Green Bay, originally platted as "Washington Square" by Daniel Whitney, an early settler and entrepreneur who developed the area.

The park was later renamed in Whitney's honor after his death in 1862.
