Churchill Heights Park

Play & Recreation

The full-court basketball court at Churchill Heights Park is a local favorite, giving ballers of all skill levels a quality space to shoot hoops, run pickup games, or just practice their jump shot. The park is compact but packs in plenty of outdoor fun for this corner of Madison.

Kids have their own special corner of the park too, with a playground that's ideal for burning off energy, making new friends, and creating those little childhood adventures that make summer days memorable.

Take a Break

Need a spot for a casual family get-together? The park's picnic shelter has you covered (literally). It's just right for those impromptu weekend lunches or small gatherings where you want a touch of nature without venturing far from home.

When the Madison summer heats up, you'll appreciate the drinking fountain that keeps everyone hydrated during play. There's also a paved path winding through the grounds - ideal for a quick stroll or just helping you navigate from one area of the park to another.

Local Favorite

What Churchill Heights Park lacks in size, it makes up for in accessibility and variety. It's one of those essential neighborhood spaces that brings a little bit of green into everyday life, offering something for everyone, from active teens to families with young children. It's not trying to be the biggest park in Madison - just a reliable, welcoming outdoor space for the community it serves.
