If you're visiting with kids, the playground area features a variety of climbing structures and swings suitable for different ages. On hot days, the splash park offers welcome relief, operating daily between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day. There are plenty of benches and grassy spots nearby where you can relax while keeping an eye on the little ones.

Winter Wonderland

When snow blankets the ground, Elver Park transforms into a winter recreation destination. The park features groomed cross-country ski trails with some sections lit for evening adventures.

The popular sledding hill draws families from across Madison - just be careful on those steeper sections! You'll also find ice skating rinks for both casual skating and hockey games, plus trails meant for snowshoeing. There's something magical about experiencing the park's quiet beauty in winter.
