Huegel Park sits at the intersection of Madison and Fitchburg, Wisconsin - literally. This 13-acre park is jointly maintained by both cities (Madison oversees 7.8 acres while Fitchburg takes care of 9.1), creating a shared space that feels open, spacious, and welcoming.

The new large shelter functions as the park's social hub, ready to host everything from family reunions to community celebrations with room for up to 200 people. No need to worry about hunting down a bathroom - the shelter comes equipped with clean, modern restrooms.

Sports enthusiasts will find plenty of options. The park features two tennis courts, a full basketball court, a softball diamond, and a dedicated soccer field. There's even a volleyball area for those sandy spikes and digs.
