Huegel Park is a jointly developed and maintained recreational area located in Madison, Wisconsin. The park spans approximately 13 acres, with 7.8 acres managed by the City of Madison and 9.1 acres by the City of Fitchburg.

This collaborative effort between the two cities has resulted in a diverse and well-equipped community space.

Park Amenities

A large shelter, which was recently renovated, serves as a focal point for gatherings and events. The shelter has a capacity to accommodate up to 200 people, making it suitable for larger community functions or private celebrations.

For sports enthusiasts, Huegel Park offers multiple options. The park includes two tennis courts, a full basketball court, a softball diamond, and a soccer field. These facilities provide ample opportunities for both organized sports activities and casual play.

Additionally, there is a volleyball area for those interested in beach volleyball.
