Formerly known as Wheeler Road Park, this 2.4-acre green space on Wheeler Road in Madison, Wisconsin earned its current name from the magnificent Linden trees that call it home.

These Linden trees (or Basswood, if you're feeling botanical) aren't just pretty to look at - they fill the air with an incredibly sweet fragrance when in bloom, making a spring or summer visit especially rewarding.

While modest in size, this park offers something increasingly precious: quiet. The impressive Basswood trees create a natural canopy that feels worlds away from city life, despite being right in Madison's backyard.
