Kent Robertson Park was formerly known as Logan Park before taking on its current name. Spread across 13.68 acres in Huntsville, Alabama, it's a clean, spacious spot that's welcoming to visitors of all ages.

Athletic Facilities

As part of Youth Athletic Zone 1, this park is popular with local sports enthusiasts. You'll discover a nice mix of athletic spaces here - volleyball courts for beach-style fun without the beach, a solid basketball court for pickup games, and a medium-sized sports field complete with a baseball diamond and nets for whatever team sport you're into.

Recreation for Everyone

The beauty of Kent Robertson is how it balances active and quiet spaces. Families with little ones will appreciate the playground facilities - there's a newer kiddie jungle gym that the small humans seem to love, plus several swinging areas including those classic long swings that take you right back to childhood. Meanwhile, local sports teams and solo athletes can spread out across the various fields and courts.

Amenities and Accessibility

When you need a break, head for the covered picnic benches which thoughtfully include wheelchair-accessible spaces. A paved walking path meanders through the grounds - meant for a leisurely stroll or getting those steps in. The park is designed to be handicap accessible, but if you're using a wheelchair, you might want to skip the main parking lot entrance with its somewhat narrow bridge and instead use the path entrance near the basketball court.
