Grand Canal Linear Park

Grand Canal Linear Park is a 4.5-mile long park located in Glendale, Arizona that runs along the historic Grand Canal. The park stretches from 75th Avenue and Camelback Road to 97th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, following the path of the canal.

The park features a paved, lighted trail that is popular for walking, jogging, cycling, and horseback riding. The trail crosses the canal at several points, providing different perspectives of the waterway. Lush landscaping and trees line the path, offering shade and creating a pleasant green corridor through the urban environment.

At the eastern end near 75th Avenue and Camelback Road, the park includes a fully accessible playground with equipment like slides and swings. This area provides recreational opportunities for families and children of all abilities.

Grand Canal Linear Park connects to other recreational areas in Glendale, including Glendale Heroes Regional Park and the area around State Farm Stadium. This connectivity allows the linear park to serve as a green transportation corridor linking different parts of the city.

The park is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the outdoor space throughout the day. Parking is available at the eastern end of the park just north of Camelback Road on 75th Avenue.
