El Pueblo Park

Park Overview

El Pueblo Park stretches across 32.2 acres on W. Irvington Rd. in Tucson, Arizona, and it's more than a standalone green space. It's part of the Richard Ortiz Barker Regional Complex, which also houses the El Pueblo Activity Center, a Senior Center, a Neighborhood Center, and a pool.

El Pueblo provides green space for residents in Tucson's Wards 1 and 5. The park sits in an area that has faced its share of challenges, including historical disinvestment and higher crime rates, making it an important focus for community renewal efforts.
