About the Location
A Little Green Oasis in the City
Tucked away at the southeast corner of 8th Street and Martin Avenue, just west of Campbell Avenue, Feld Davis Park is a charming quarter-acre pocket of greenery that offers a peaceful escape from Tucson's urban hustle. This little haven has been a part of the Rincon Heights neighborhood since 2009, when it underwent a transformation.
What once stood as an abandoned lot has blossomed into a vibrant community space thanks to the dedication of local volunteers working alongside the Watershed Management Group. The park's native vegetation isn't just pretty to look at - it plays an important role in supporting the local ecosystem too.
Small Space, Big Impact
Don't let the compact size fool you. This pocket park packs a lot of charm into a small footprint. With its clean, medium-sized yard area, Feld Davis creates a versatile space where neighbors can connect and visitors can take a moment to breathe.
The park shows how urban spaces can be reimagined - even the smallest areas can become pleasant neighborhood spots with the right vision and care.
Good to Know Before You Go
Unlike many of Tucson's green spaces, Feld Davis Park is privately owned. You should be mindful of any posted rules when visiting this special spot.
Since the park doesn't have lighting installed, plan your visit during daylight hours for the best experience. The natural lighting showcases the park's features beautifully anyway!
