Mirasol Park

Mirasol Park is a neighborhood park located on E. Silverlake Road in Tucson, Arizona. Spanning 5.3 acres, this Ward 5 park serves as a local recreational space for the surrounding community.

The park has undergone recent renovations as part of the Tucson Delivers program. These improvements, scheduled to take place in two phases between 2023 and 2025, include renovations to the sports courts, playground, parking lot, and utilities. Additionally, a new restroom facility is being added to the park. The total investment for these upgrades amounts to $492,169.

Mirasol Park has a history intertwined with the South Park Neighborhood's development. In the past, the area faced challenges related to crime and drug activity, with the park once being known as a center for illicit activities. However, community efforts and government initiatives have since worked to improve the neighborhood and its amenities.
